Hi, I’m James Turner, the author and founder of Ketogenic Daily. During my childhood in my hometown of Winthrop, MA, my parents inspired me to strive for my goals and become the person I am today. I have a lot of great memories of mom and dad (both were avid health enthusiasts). They used to wake me up early in the mornings to play basketball and or go on a bike ride. Having been introduced to physical activities and self-discipline so early on in my childhood, I developed a life-long passion for athletics.
Growing up, my parents immersed me in a variety of sports. I played everything from baseball to soccer and every sport in between. Those experiences built a strong foundation to help me become the athlete that I am today. But my mom and dad also combined this passion for sports with lessons on healthy living. One of the most important lessons they taught me is that playing sports does not guarantee a healthy body. However, combining physical activity with a healthy diet will. The combo leads to long, healthy living.
When I went to college, I studied and earned a degree in Health and Wellness. I studied diet practices in cultures all over the world. But one specific diet grabbed my attention the most: the ketogenic diet.
I started this website to share my ideas, insights, and thoughts in various articles and product reviews. This website is my pride and joy.
